Dr. Christopher Peters is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Games Technology, in the Department of the Digital Environment at Coventry University.

His research interests include real-time pedestrian crowd modelling and evaluation, human interaction with embodied conversational agents, and interrelationships between simplified models of synthetic perception, attention, memory, emotion and theory of mind for character control.

He has been involved in several projects related to these interests:

  • METROPOLIS: Science Foundation Ireland funded Supercrowds for Multisensory Urban Simulations
  • CALLAS: FP6 Integrated Project Conveying Affectiveness in Leading-Edge Living Adaptive Systems
  • HUMAINE: FP6 Network of Excellence on Human-Machine Interaction Network on Emotion
