Android Programming Workshop

This workshop will cover the basics of Android app development with an emphasis on AI and games, and will be run by Robin Baumgarten based on his experience with a successful Android game design.

No experience with Android is necessary, but participants must bring their own laptop (and Android phone if desired) and should have some experience with Java programming. Participants should install Eclipse and the Android SDK before the workshop. We will be targetting Android 1.5 (platform level 3).

The workshop will run from 10am to 6pm (exact programme to be decided) and will be free for Network members. Lunch will be provided, and the Network can cover reasonable travel expenses within the UK on the day.
